Lighting refurbishment – Stadel secondary school, Stadel
The lighting at the secondary school in Stadel now radiates with new splendour. As part of a comprehensive modernisation project, the conventional fluorescent tubes were replaced with state-of-the-art, energy-efficient LED lights. The focus was on minimising energy consumption, extending the service life and reducing maintenance costs.
The refurbishment also incorporated an innovative control system that reacts intelligently to movement and daylight. Motion detectors in the classrooms ensure that the lights are only activated when they are actually needed, while the daylight sensor system ensures constant regulation of the lighting level to guarantee optimum lighting conditions at all times.
The planning of this project began with a thorough inventory of the existing lighting installation. Each type of existing luminaire was checked to see if its housing could be preserved in order to conserve resources. The entire installation took place during the summer and autumn holidays, so that pupils and teachers can now learn and work in a bright, modern and energy-efficient environment.
